高塚章夫は1972年、兵庫県に生まれる。京都大学、パリ建築大学ラ・ヴィレット校で建築を学ぶ。2000年から10年間、建築家伊東豊雄の元でフランス・スペイン・アメリカ・シンガポールをはじめ世界中の建築設計に携わる。内3年間はフランス・パリに駐在しヨーロッパ事務所の代表を務める。
2010年独立し高塚章夫建築設計事務所を設立。設計・都市と社会の構造分析を通じて、建築が文化に貢献することを目指している。東京を拠点としながら、グローバルな視点でデザイン活動を行っている。2011年以降、東日本大震災の復興活動にも従事し、被災地を長期的に支援している。
2020年に法人化しAaat Inc.に改組。他分野との協働などより広い分野でその専門性を生かした組織を目指している。

Akio Takatsuka was born in 1972 in Hyogo,
Japan. He studied architecture at Kyoto University and Ecole d’Architecture de
Paris La Villette, France. From 2000, he worked with architect Toyo Ito for the
worldwide projects in France, Spain, the U.S., Singapore, etc. to experience global
& professional career.
In 2010, he established his own firm, aaat (architecture atelier
akio takatsuka). His goal is to contribute to the culture through architectural
design and socio-cultural analysis. Since 2011, he has also been engaged in reconstruction activities
following TOHOKU Earthquake &
Tsunami, providing long-term support.
In 2020, the company was incorporated and
reorganized as Aaat Inc. to become an organization that utilizes its expertise
in a wider range of fields, including collaboration with other professionals.
